About HuntMap

HuntMap is a product and trade name of BlueBird Geographics, LLC.  BlueBird Geographics, LLC was founded in 1992 to focus on providing general Geographic Information Systems (GIS) services.

In 2004 Viktor M. Keenan, Vice-president of BlueBird GeoGraphics, LLC, developed and co-patented the HuntMap product. HuntMap is a revolutionary map designed specifically for Hunters in the southwest. Mr. Keenan realized that hunters in Arizona had specific needs regarding maps. First and foremost hunters needed a map:

• That showed their entire hunt unit on one map;
• secondly hunters needed to know access into their hunt unit, forest service road and trails;
• third they needed a map that showed where all the water tanks are; and
• finally they need maps that could hold up to the weather and elments - a map that would last.

Viktor made it his mission to solve these needs and falling back on his education as a geographer, his years of experience with GIS and painstakingly asking hunters to field test his proto-types; he was able to engineer the perfect map for scouting and hunting.

In early 2008,  MapTrex was created as a D/B/A of BlueBird GeoGraphics, Inc., which maintains the copyrights and patent ownership of the HuntMap™ name, product and the following websites:
